Parking
A residential garage on the premises, the main driveway and designated areas, plus free street parking and overflow on the gravel lot at the top near the fire pit. One vehicle per registered guest, up to ten. The driveway is steep — see the parking rules before you leave a car on the slope.
Early or late
Early check-in requests are welcome and accommodated when possible, and you can drop luggage off either side of your stay. Check-out must be on time; after that it is $200 per hour.
On the last morning
Lock up, and if there's time, strip the sheets and towels and leave the trash in the garage. Neither is required — see before you leave.

A travel crib with sheets and a clamp-on high chair are always here, along with stair gates, outlet covers, and books and toys for ages 0–2. There's also a crib and an air mattress in Bedroom Three.

Darts, board games and puzzles in the game room, an Xbox, and books to read.
Wi-Fi
Starlink, with an ethernet connection and a dedicated workspace in a private room.
Heating & cooling
Air conditioning and heating, a gas fireplace indoors, plus a ceiling fan and portable fans.
Laundry
Washer and dryer in the house, free to use, with an iron and a drying rack.
Linens & towels
Provided — cotton bed linens, towels, soap and toilet paper, with extra pillows and blankets. Beach towels, chairs and an umbrella are here too.
Televisions
An HDTV with Chromecast and a DVD player, plus an Xbox 360.
Stairs
There are stairs to the guest entrance and the parking, and the house runs across multiple levels. The path to the entrance is lit at night.

Outside & On the Water

The dock
A private single-well dock with a large swim platform, in a calm no-wake cove.
The deck
Covered lakefront deck off the kitchen, with seating, a fire table and a grill.
Fire pit
On its own adjacent lot at the top of the driveway.
The grill
A private gas barbecue, with utensils, charcoal and skewers.
Boat slip
Private and yours for the stay, for a boat up to 24 feet. There's trailer parking on the property.
Our boat & jet ski
The boat and jet ski you'll see in the photos are ours and aren't part of the rental. The boat is kept on its trailer rather than in the slip, so the slip is free for yours.
Life jackets
Around ten on site, in sizes from infant to 2XL.
Firewood
There's wood on the property to gather, but it isn't cut and stacked for you — bring your own if you'd rather not forage for it.

Booking Requirements

  • The primary booking guest must be 30 or older.
  • The primary guest must be present for the duration of the stay.
  • Guests must have prior positive Airbnb reviews.
  • Government ID required.
  • No local bookings (within roughly 50 miles) without prior approval.
  • Violation of booking requirements may result in cancellation or removal without refund.

Occupancy & Guests

  • Maximum occupancy 14 guests.
  • All guests must be listed on the reservation.
  • No unregistered visitors without prior approval — including daytime visits.
  • A maximum of one vehicle per registered guest, up to 10 vehicles total.

Parking

  • Please be mindful of the steep driveway.
  • We don't recommend parking on the slope, especially in inclement weather.
  • If you do park on the slope, use your parking brake and take proper precautions.
  • You're welcome to park in the main driveway and designated areas.
  • Additional parking is available on the adjoining gravel lot at the top of the driveway, near the fire pit.
  • Please don't block the street or neighboring driveways.

Pets

  • Pets must be approved in advance.
  • Fee: $150 per pet, per night.
  • Unauthorized pets: $500 fine plus applicable pet fees.
  • Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds.
  • Please clean up and dispose of all pet waste in the outdoor receptacles.

Smoking

  • No smoking inside the home.
  • Violation fee: $300+.

Parties & Events

  • Strictly prohibited.
  • Any unauthorized gathering, event or additional guests will result in immediate termination of the stay, removal without refund, and additional penalties.

Quiet Hours

  • 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
  • We're fortunate to have space and privacy, but we still have neighbors — please be respectful.
  • Noise complaints may result in immediate removal without refund.

Cleanliness & Care

  • Please treat the home with care — we take pride in keeping it clean and well maintained.
  • Excessive cleaning will result in additional charges, starting at $75+.
  • Please avoid shoes that may track in mud; there are areas near the entrance for them.
  • Cotton rounds are provided for makeup — please don't use the towels or linens.
  • If you use self-tanning products, please bring your own linens to avoid staining.
  • Please avoid eating in the bedrooms or on the beds, to keep the linens fresh.

Decorations

  • Decorations are welcome, but may not be adhered to painted or wood surfaces.
  • Any damage caused will be charged accordingly.

Damages

  • Please tell us immediately if anything is damaged or broken during your stay.
  • Accidents happen — minor accidental damage or normal wear may not result in a charge.
  • Guests are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing damage caused by negligence, misuse or excessive breakage. Any charges are assessed at the host's discretion.

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-out must be on time.
  • Late check-out fee: $200 per hour.
  • Early check-in requests are welcome — we'll accommodate when possible.

Before You Leave

  • Please lock and secure the doors and windows. That's the one that matters.
  • Turn off the lights and small appliances.
  • If you have time, stripping the sheets, towels and linens makes it easier for our cleaners.
  • Gathering the trash and setting it in the garage is appreciated too — but we know how crazy travelling can be, so neither is required.
  • Other than that, we'll take care of everything else. Travel safely.

Restricted Areas

  • Owner closets and storage areas are off-limits.

Security

  • Exterior cameras and noise monitoring devices are in place for safety and rule enforcement.
  • The cameras cover the backyard, front yard, next-door lot, docks, garage and front door.
  • No recording devices are located inside the home.

Fines & Enforcement

  • Violations may result in immediate removal without refund, and additional charges:
  • Unauthorized guests: $100–$300 per person.
  • Parties or events: $1,000+.
  • Smoking: $300+.
  • Unauthorized pets: $500 plus fees.
